These Terms & Conditions are organized by service type to help you quickly find the information relevant to you.
General Policies (apply to all services)
Requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid charge. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance are charged in full.
Arriving late is accepted for up to one-third of the session's duration. Beyond that point, the session is considered a No-Show and charged in full.
In the rare event the tutor is unable to deliver a scheduled session, you will be contacted to reschedule at no penalty — no charge, no session lost.
Session counts and package balances are tracked in our internal records, which are considered the authoritative reference in case of any discrepancy with a scheduling tool.
Terms by Service Type
For the First Lesson ($10)
Payment must be made in full and upfront via the booking link. Your session is only confirmed once payment is received.
First Lesson bookings are valid for 30 days from purchase.
Standard policy applies (see General Policies above): sessions cancelled less than 24 hours in advance are non-refundable.
For Discovery Sessions (pay-per-session)
Each session is paid individually and in full at the time of booking.
Sessions cancelled at least 24 hours in advance may be rescheduled once at no charge. Sessions cancelled less than 24 hours in advance are due in full and are not rescheduled automatically — a new session must be booked and paid for separately.
For the Accelerator Pack (12 sessions)
Full payment is required upfront to confirm the pack. Renewal should be arranged during your last 2 sessions.
Your pack is valid 4 months from the date of purchase. Sessions not used within this period are forfeited and non-refundable. Under no circumstances will the validity period be extended.
Sessions cancelled at least 24 hours in advance may be rescheduled freely within your pack, as many times as needed. Sessions cancelled less than 24 hours in advance, or missed without notice, are deducted from your pack and are not refunded or rescheduled.
If you wish to stop before completing your pack, any sessions not yet taken will be refunded, recalculated at our standard Discovery rate ($69/h) rather than your discounted pack rate — since your discount was granted in exchange for the 12-session commitment. Example: a $588 pack (12 × $49), stopped after 5 sessions taken → refund = $588 − (5 × $69) = $243.
For the Collective Pack (8 sessions)
Full payment is required upfront to confirm the pack.
Your pack is valid 4 months from the date of purchase. Sessions not used within this period are forfeited and non-refundable.
Sessions cancelled at least 24 hours in advance may be rescheduled freely within your pack. Sessions cancelled less than 24 hours in advance, or missed without notice, are deducted from your pack and are not refunded or rescheduled.
Same principle as the Accelerator Pack: any sessions not yet taken will be refunded, recalculated at our standard Discovery rate ($69/h) rather than your discounted pack rate.
Group sessions are not cancelled or rescheduled at the request of a single group member. In the rare event the tutor is unable to deliver a session, it will be rescheduled or a qualified substitute may be offered, at no penalty to you.
For the Corporate Programme
Terms for corporate engagements are agreed individually by contract prior to the start of the programme.
Legal Notice
France Academy reserves the right to revise these Terms & Conditions at any time. This document is legally binding and supersedes any prior oral or written agreements. If France Academy does not enforce any right under this agreement on a given occasion, this does not waive the right to enforce it later.
